How many classes does a course consist of?
One course consists of 10 classes. 1 class a week means that one course lasts for 10 weeks.

How much does course cost?
Our classes cost 70 euros per course. Footwork styling & Shines costs 50 euros if taken in combination with any other partnerwork course.

Do I need a dancepartner to enroll?
With us you don't need a dancepartner to enroll. We allow enrollment without a dance-partner, but if we get too many male/female enrollments we stop the enrollment of either one to make sure the group evens out. We are also happy to have a lot of male dancers willing to help out. We work on a first come first serve basis though and ofcourse we can't give any guarantees, but we will try our best to accomodate you.

How do I know what level I am?
We advise anybody that is unsure about their level to come and have a test-dance with us. That way we can better advise you. For any dancer wanting to enroll for a class other then fundamentals, we ask that they come by for a test-dance.

I have done a different style/come from a different school, what level shoud I take?
When coming from antoher school/style we also advise on coming by for a test-dance. That way we can find the group best suited to you.

How rhythmic do you need to be to join?
Don't worry about rhythm. If you can hear the rhythm in any mainstream music (pop/hip-hop/R&B) than we can teach you how to listen to Salsa/Merengue/Bachata.

How long untill I get good?
The simple answer here is: Depends on how much you practice. The more you practice, the faster you grow. The beauty about Salsa is: There is always a next level.

What Style of Salsa will I learn?
We teach Puerto Rican style Salsa which a lot of people call LA style Salsa. In the higher levels we als teach New York style salsa. (on2) Nabil teaches Cuban style Salsa on Thursdays.

What age are the people in the group in general?
We have people of all age ranges in our class. From 15 to 65 and everything in between. We find that in Salsa age really is nothing but a number. If you have concerns about the age of your (potential) dance-partner then please let us know.

Do I need special shoes/clothing?
You don't need special clothing and/or shoes when starting out. Just make sure your shoes don't stick to the floor (due to too much grip) and your clothing doesn't have too much loose fabric as that might get in the way. If you plan on doing a lot of dancing right out of the box then we advise you pick up some dancing shoes. They give more support and make turning a bit easier than regular store-shoes. You can pick up dancing shoes at Mi Pasión in Maastricht or several online stores.

When do I need to pay?
We ask that everybody fullfil their financial obligations before the third class. You can also pay before the course itself starts. See below for details.

How can I pay?
Cash payments can be done before or after classes. Bank-transfer is also possible. Please use the informaton below when paying by bank-transfer.
